Quick start: first table and first record

If you do not have a ready Excel file yet, you can start from scratch: table, fields, first record, and relations.

If you do not have a ready Excel file yet, you can start from scratch.

  1. In the workspace open Tables → Create table.
  2. Set a name (for example, “Clients”) and, if you want, a description and icon.
  3. Add fields in the Table Builder: field name, type (text, number, date, select, relation, and so on), and rules — required, min/max length, uniqueness.
  4. Go to Records and click Add record — fill in the fields for your structure.
  5. To link this table to another (for example, “Projects”), add a Relation field, pick the related table, and the relation type (one-to-one / one-to-many / many-to-many).

After that you can create extra views — Kanban for statuses, Calendar for dates, and so on.
